Abstract

One of the nutritional problems that are still quite high and difficult to control in this country is the problem of stunted.Stunted is a condition in toddler have length or height that is less than their age.Brebes Regency is a district that has a fairly high prevalence of stunted. This study aims to anlayze The purpose of this study was to analyze the pattern of feeding for toddlers, environmental sanitation conditions and family support for the prevalence of stunted of children under five in the stunting locus village in the Kaliwadas Health Center, Bumiayu District, Brebes Regency. This method in this study used observational analysis with case-control design.The study was carried out in 4 stunted locus villages in the Kaliwadas Health Center Working Area,namely Pruwatan,Kalisumur,Kalilangkap and Kalinusu villages.The sample size was 112 samples in the case group and 112 in the control group.Proportionally proportional to the simple random sampling technique.The data analysis of this study included univariate,bivariate and multivariate analysis using SPSS. Based on the results of this study, it is know that the variables related to the prevalence of stunted are infant feeding, latrine ownership and household waste management. Innappropriate feeding of toddlers has an effect of 3,069 times on the the prevalence of stunted. Ownership of latrines that do not meet the requirements has an effect of 2,994 times on prevalence of stunted.The management of household waste that do not meet the requirements has an effect of 4,779 times on prevalence of stunted.Variables that have no relationships with the prevalence of stunted are housing components,clean water supply,sewerage facilities and family support.
