Abstract

The National Empowerment Program (PNPM) is a program created by the government in 2007 to accelerate poverty. The Women’s Group Savings and Loan (SPP) program is one of the flagship programs of PNPM. SPP is a capital loan to a group of women who fall into the category of poor households that require additional capital to develop their business. The purpose of the study was to analyze the effect of SPP on members' income before and after receiving loans, analyzing the effect of income on members' well-being. The purpose of the study was to analyze the effect of SPP on members' income before and after receiving loans, analyzing the effect of income on members' well-being in UPK Satria Mandiri Lumbir Sub-district, Banyumas Regency, Central Java Province, Indonesia. Respondents in this study as many as 93 people as a sample with a population of all members who are members of the SPP program in Lumbir Sub-district. The data collection techniques in this study used interview methods and questionnaire dissemination. The data analysis techniques used are the Wilcoxon test and cross-tabulation with the Chi-Square test. The results of the study showed that there was a change in income before and after receiving SPP capital loan assistance. The change in revenue has increased from before the SPP program. From the cross-tabulation analysis that has been tested with the Chi-Square Test there is a relationship between income variables and well-being. This research implies that the existence of UPK PNPM Satria Mandiri has a positive impact on its members, so it is necessary to increase the amount of loan capital to increase income. There needs to be intensive eavesdropping related to PNPM UPK so that loan funds can be on target. It is expected that SPP members to find side jobs so as not to rely solely on their business income.
