Abstract

The purpose of this research are (1) to find out whether MSME actors are ready to implement digitization financial reports, (2) to find out whether MSME actors have sufficient knowledge in implementing digitization financial reports and (3) what are the obstacles felt by MSME actors in implementing digitization financial reports. This research is a qualitative research using primary data. The subjects in this study were MSMEs in South Tangerang City which were engaged in the culinary field and registered at Department Cooperatives and MSMEs in South Tangerang City. The data is taken from the results of interviews, observations and documentation. Data analysis used 4 stages, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The result of this research is that MSMEs in South Tangerang City are not ready to implement the digitization of financial reports. MSMEs in South Tangerang City do not yet have sufficient knowledge in implementing the digitization of financial reports. Most MSMEs still encounter obstacles in implementing the digitization of financial reports. The implication of this research is that the Department of Cooperatives and SMEs in South Tangerang City can provide more targeted education to MSMEs in South Tangerang City regarding to the implementation of digitization financial reports.
