Abstract

Sektor pariwisata di Indonesia memiliki pengaruh yang besar terhadap ekonomi negara namun dalam kurun waktu belakangan ini pandemi Covid-19 menghambat perkembangan sektor pariwisata. Pemerintah Indonesia telah mengikuti panduan yang diciptakan oleh United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) mengenai pemulihan sektor pariwisata di era pandemi covid-19 dengan mengeluarkan standar CHSE yang berfokus pada kesehatan, kebersihan, keamanan, hingga keberlanjutan lingkungan, standar ini perlu diikuti oleh seluruh pelaku pariwisata yang ada di Indonesia. Banyumas sebagai salah satu wilayah di Jawa Tengah yang memiliki banyak potensi dan destinasi pariwisata, hal ini juga mendorong Pemerintah Banyumas untuk menjadikan Kawasan Banyumas sebagai Kota Pusaka. Pemerintah Kecamatan Banyumas Kota Lama sedang dalam upaya untuk menggiatkan sektor pariwisata hal ini membuat sektor pariwisata Banyumas Kota Lama untuk perlu menerapkan standar CHSE dalam pengelolaannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat bagaimana dampak dari pembangunan Banyumas Kota Lama menuju Kota Pusaka yang dilakukan Pemerintah Kecamanatan Banyumas terhadap pelestarian lingkungan. Kata Kunci: Pariwisata, CHSE, Banyumas Kota Lama, Pariwisata Berkelanjutan Abstract Tourism is one of the top contributor to Indonesia’s economy but in recent time the Covid-19 Pandemic has halt the tourism sector development. Indonesia’s Government has been following United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) guidelines for tourism sector recovery in pandemic era with the release of CHSE Standardisation which focuses on cleanness, health, security, and environmental sustainability. This standard must be obliged by all tourism actors in Indonesia. Banyumas which located in Central Java of Indonesia has a lot potentials and destinations in tourism sector, this drives the local government to promote the status of Banyumas into Heritage City. The local government is also engaging in effort to develop the tourism sector which means that all of the tourism sector in the area must follow the CHSE standard. This Research is conducted in order to observe the effect of the development of Banyumas into Heritage City to environmental sustainability.
