Abstract

This article was written to explain a series of international women conferences held by the United Nations Organizations for several times. Conference is widely known as a strategy in the international political theories, especially to discuss issues such as; food, population, energy, woman roles and science and technology of development.. The advancement of women issues have become one of the world primary concern since 1970es. It specifically become one of the world largest issue and therefore the results of those conferences have become the main source or a yard pole for the governments member of United Nations Organization to imply upon women perspectives in their development policies. Among those member states, Indonesia as one of the participant country in every women conference has had at least a morale obligation to implement and emphasize the urgency to mainstreaming woven perspectives in its national policies. We will discuss the advancement of woren issues ir the international and national level, particularly in Indonesia.
