Abstract
Skripsi ini membahas tentang sifat-sifat semigrup Smarandache. Suatu semigrup S disebut semigrup Smarandache jika terdapat subhimpunan sejati A , sedemikian sehingga A merupakan grup terhadap operasi yang sama dengan operasi di .S Sifat-sifat dari semigrup Smarandache S antara lain adalah jika S merupakan semigrup Smarandache siklis, maka S merupakan semigrup Smarandache komutatif, setiap semigrup Smarandache memuat elemen reguler lengkap dan setiap band merupakan semigrup Smarandache. Selain itu, hasil kali Cartesius semigrup Smarandache merupakan semigrup Smarandache. Contoh dari semigrup Smarandache yaitu himpunan bilangan bulat modulo n yang dilengkapi operasi perkalian bilangan bulat modulo n . Jika n merupakan bilangan prima, maka semigrup Smarandache tersebut adalah semigrup reguler.
