Abstract
Penelitian ini membahas analisis regresi data panel dan aplikasinya untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap jumlah penduduk miskin di Provinsi Jawa Tengah pada tahun 2012 sampai 2017. Model random effect (REM) terpilih menjadi model terbaik. Hasil pada penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel-variabel yang signifikan berpengaruh adalah produk domestik regional bruto dan jumlah penduduk. Variabel produk domestik bruto memiliki pengaruh yang negatif terhadap jumlah penduduk miskin, sedangkan variabel jumlah penduduk memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap jumlah penduduk miskin.
