Abstract
Antenatal care (ANC) is one of strategies that can be conducted to decrease maternal mortality. To ensure that the aim of ANC can be achieved, primary health care centre have to provide a good quality ANC service. Quality is customer or client decision, which is based on real experiences of customer toward a service. This means that customer's perception is crucial in judging the quality of health services. Patients' satisfaction as an indicator of midwifery quality service is often be ignored. This research aimed to analyse the relationship between patient perception regarding ANC services quality and patient satisfaction at Puskesmas Kembaran l, Banyumas Disfiict. This research is analytic observational, cross-sectional study. Population of this research was mothers attending antenatal care clinic at Puskesmas Kembaran I, Banyumas district. The sampling method used was total sampling. Data were collected by a structured questionnaire. Kendall's Tau method was used to analyse the data. There was a significant relationship at moderate level and positive correlation between patient perception regarding ANC services quality and patient satisfaction at Puskesmas Kernbaran l, Banyumas District (τ = 0,533; p = 0,000). In conclusion, the higher the perception of the patient, the higher the patient’s satisfaction. Keywords: Antenatal care, perception, ANC quality services, patient satisfaction
