Abstract

This study aimed to analyse the association between social environmental factors and nutritional'status among children under five years old at Baturraden District, Banyumas Regency. Research method used was cross sectional method. Population of the study was children under five at Baturraden District, Banyumas Regency. Samplei were selected using clustered purposive sampling method. Nutritional status was determined by calculating weight by age. nesutt bf tne research showed that out of 465 children under five yeirs old selected , 4.3Vo weie undernutrition. Significant association was found between mother's level education and children nutritional status (X2:14.622, p:0.023). However, the association was weak (r:-0 .2t3). No significant association was found between mothers occupation or family income and chiidren's nudidonal status, with X2=1.060, p:0.589, C:0.048 and X2:0.756, p:g.944, t:-0.811, respectively.
