Abstract

Increasing local revenue (PAD) is by exploring and managing the potential of regional resources, one of the sectors that can contribute to increasing PAD, namely the tourism sector. However, with the contribution of the tourism sector to PAD, it cannot be said that the factors of the tourism sector have an effect on PAD. In this study the measuring instrument used to measure the influence of the tourism sector is to use Regional Original Income (PAD). The purpose of this study was to analyze the number of tourist visits, hotel taxes and restaurant taxes on local revenue (PAD) in Banyumas Regency in 2013-2022. The object of research used in this study is data for 10 years of local revenue, number of tourist visits, hotel taxes, restaurant taxes in Banyumas Regency. The type of data used in this research is secondary data so that data collection is carried out by intermediate media or obtained and recorded. by other parties. The analytical method used is multiple regression analysis of time series data. The results of this study indicate that the number of tourist visits and hotel taxes has no significant effect on PAD while restaurant taxes have a positive and significant effect on PAD in Banyumas district in 2013-2022. The implications of this research for the government, it is hoped that the government can improve the quality of tourist attractions through marketing, human resources and the government examines whether the number of existing hotels is in accordance with the hotel taxes paid to the government so that sectors related to tourism such as the number of tourist visits and hotel taxes, it is hoped that this policy will have a significant effect on PAD.
