Abstract

This study aims to determine the legal aspirations of students on the rules prohibiting sexual violence on campus as well as the influence of facilities and infrastructure, communication, and motivation factors on students' legal aspirations regarding the rules prohibiting sexual violence on campus at the Faculty of Law, Jenderal Soedirman University. This research uses quantitative methods, empirical juridical approaches, and descriptive research specifications. The research location is at the Faculty of Law, Jenderal Soedirman University. Sampling through a simple random sampling method. The data used includes primary and secondary data obtained by questionnaire, documentary, and literature. Data processing by coding, editing, and tabulation. Quantitative data analysis uses frequency distribution, cross-table analysis, content analysis, and comparative analysis. The results showed that the level of legal aspirations of students towards the rules prohibiting sexual violence on the campus of the Faculty of Law, Jenderal Soedirman University is moderate. This is evidenced by the results of research on 4 (four) indicators, including the moderate prevention of sexual violence on campus, the moderate level of handling of victims of sexual violence on campus, the poor mechanism for handling sexual violence on campus, and the moderate sanctions for perpetrators of sexual violence on campus. Meanwhile, facilities and infrastructure factors as social factors tend to have a less significant effect on students' legal aspirations about the rules prohibiting sexual violence on campus, and communication factors and motivational factors as personal factors have a positive effect on students' legal aspirations about the rules prohibiting sexual violence on campus.
