Abstract
The utilization of electronic procurement systems in the public sector has great potential to enhance efficiency and transparency. Transparency in tender announcements, efficiency in the bidding and evaluation processes, and open communication with relevant parties can make public procurement more effective and accountable. However, technical and infrastructure challenges, cultural barriers, and issues of security and data protection pose obstacles to the implementation of this system. Strengthening technology infrastructure and internet access, along with outreach and training to improve digital literacy among the public, are key to overcoming these obstacles. Strong policies and regulations are also needed to ensure data security. Limited human resources and budgets require collaboration between the government, private sector, and civil society. With a holistic and integrated strategy, it is hoped that electronic procurement in the public sector can enhance efficiency, transparency, and accountability, as well as public trust in the government, supporting sustainable and equitable development for all segments of societ
