Abstract
The utilization of Digital Population Identity (IKD) and the development of information technology pose challenges and opportunities for both society and government. IKD can enhance the efficiency and accessibility of public services, but it also entails risks related to individual privacy and data security. To address digital access disparities and effectively leverage IKD, coordinated efforts among the government, private sector, civil society, and international institutions are required. Adequate regulations, digital education and literacy, public awareness, responsible business practices, cross-sector collaboration, as well as effective oversight mechanisms and law enforcement can protect individual privacy and data security while ensuring equitable and inclusive access in this increasingly complex digital era. Thus, Indonesia can achieve sustainable and inclusive development goals, while ensuring that the rights and interests of individuals are respected and protected in the evolving digital environment.
