Abstract
This research entitled "An Analysis of First Language Acquisition in Sentence by Four Year Old" aims to describe the types of sentences spoken by 4 year old children and describe the factors that influence language acquisition. This research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The subject of this research is the daily conversations of 4 year old children. Data collection techniques via YouTube videos were then recorded and reviewed. Data was obtained from children's daily conversations with their parents and people around them. The results of this study concluded that there were 4 types of sentences produced. These types of sentences are declarative sentences, interrogative sentences, imperative sentences, interjective sentences. There are 2 factors that influence during language acquisition. Age and environmental factors are 2 factors that influence language acquisition in children.
