Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pertumbuhan dan hasil dua genotipe kubis bunga introduksi DAWN 175 dan SV4051AC di dataran rendah Kabupaten Purbalingga dengan ketinggian lokasi sekitar 182 MDPL. Penelitian dilakukan di Desa Karangreja, Kecamatan Kutasari, Kabupaten Purbalingga pada bulan Mei hingga September 2023. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan empat genotipe kubis bunga, yaitu genotip introduksi DAWN 175 dan SV4051AC, serta 2 varietas pembanding, yaitu PM 126 (hibrida) dan Larissa. Parameter yang diamati meliputi tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, panjang dan lebar daun, diameter batang, umur berbunga, umur panen, diameter bunga, lingkar bunga, dan bobot bunga. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji ANOVA dengan uji lanjut BNT 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa genotipe SV4051AC memiliki bobot bunga tertinggi dibanding ke dua varietas pembanding, sedangkan genotipe DAWN 175 menghasilkan bobot crop bunga 5,6 % dan 7,6 % lebih tinggi dibanding varietas PM 126 dan Larissa, tetapi umur berbunga lebih panjang. This study aims to determine the growth and yield of two introduced flower cabbage genotypes DAWN 175 and SV4051AC in the lowlands of Purbalingga Regency with a location altitude of about 182 meters above sea level. The research was conducted in Karangreja Village, Kutasari District, Purbalingga Regency, from May to September 2023. The research used Randomized Block Design (RBD) with four varieties of flower cabbage, namely the introduced varieties DAWN 175 and SV4051AC and 2 comparison varieties, namely PM 126 (hybrid) and Larissa. Parameters observed included plant height, number of leaves, leaf length and width, stem diameter, flowering age, harvest age, flower diameter, flower circumference, and flower weight. Data was analyzed using ANOVA test with 5% BNT further test. The results showed that the SV4051AC genotype had the highest flower weight compared to the two comparison varieties, 21.3% and 5% higher, respectively. While the DAWN 175 genotype produced 5.6% and 7.6% higher flower crop weights than the PM 126 and Larissa varieties, but the flowering age was longer.
