Abstract

This report is prepared based on job training carried out at JAS Learning Center (JAS Academy) from August 13 to November 15, 2024. The purpose of this report is to explain the implementation of job training, the process of making promotional videos with English subtitles, and the obstacles and solutions in making videos at JAS Academy. This training place was chosen because there is still a lack of promotional videos in English. Therefore, creating a promotional video with English subtitles is necessary to help the promotion reach more widely and obtain information about JAS Academy. In compiling this job training report, there are three methods, namely observation, interview, and documentation. Observations were conducted before and during the job training, while interviews and documentation were conducted during the job training. The three methods were used to carry out job training, namely making promotional videos with English subtitles. The producty project is a video about the company PT.JAS Academy and the training program at JAS Academy with English voice over and Indonesian subtitles. There were three stages in the video-making process: pre-production, production, and post-production. Determining ideas, making schedules, writing scripts, creating storyboards, and preparing tools were the preparatory stages referred to as pre-production. The video shooting and sound recording process was referred to as the production stage, while video editing was the final stage referred to as post-production. There were many obstacles during the process, but they were overcome. The resulting video was uploaded on JAS Academy's YouTube channel to support their promotion.
