Abstract

This job training report is based on a four-month internship program conducted at the Department of Youth, Sports, Culture, and Tourism of Banyumas Regency, which took place from August 19 to November 19, 2024. The primary objective of the program was to create English-language digital content to support tourism promotion in Banyumas, with a special focus on the Baturraden Botanical Garden, a destination managed directly by Dinporabudpar Banyumas. The goal of this initiative was to enhance international tourists' understanding of the destination. Throughout the internship, the author employed three main methods: observation, interviews, and documentation. Observation was used to assess existing tourist attractions in Banyumas with the intent of promoting them to both domestic and international audiences. Interviews were conducted to gather information about tourism in Banyumas, particularly regarding the Baturraden Botanical Garden. Documentation included taking photos and recording videos for content development, along with collecting other relevant materials. The content creation process was carried out in three stages: pre-production, production, and post-production. The final outcome of this job training was a digital promotional video, which was uploaded to the Instagram account @pariwisata_banyumas. During the training period, the author encountered several challenges, such as unfavorable weather conditions during video shoots and difficulties in interviewing the head manager of the Baturraden Botanical Garden. These obstacles were addressed by seeking alternatives, including contacting the BLUD Pariwisata Baturraden team and conducting interviews online.
