Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine and analyze the level of financial literacy toward the student, especially student at economic and business faculty of Jenderal Soedirman University. The population in this study were 3,126 students that active and has been study on 2011 until 2016 per 8 August, 2017. Sample were 355 students at Economic and Business Faculty of Jenderal Soedirman University that calculated by Slovin formula. Disproportionate stratified random sampling technique used in this study. Data collection in this study using a questionnaire that which is distributed directly to respondents. The result show indicated that the level of financial literacy in the students of Faculty of Economics and Business Unosed as a whole is 58.41%, which belongs to low category (< 60%). Gender has no effect on students' financial literacy. While parental education and parental income have an influence on financial literacy. This means the influence of student demographics derived from parents who are very influential on the level of literacy students.
