Abstract

The thesis entilted “Analisis Struktural Novel Jprut Karya Putu Wijaya”. This study aims to describe the novel structure that is in the novel Jprut works Putu Wijaya. The research method used in this study is the description of the analysis, with the focus of structural research in the novel Jprut.The technique used in data collection is by reading intensively and understanding the contents of the novel, then noting the parts that describe the structure of the novel. Then, the data were analyzed using a structural approach. After that concludes the analysis based on the problem formulation. The research results are then explained descriptively, with the results of the analysis obtained that; (1) figure; Amat, Bu Amat, Ami, Pak Alit, and Pak Radja.(2) background; the place setting is Amat House, Amat House Environment, Pak Radja's House, Newspaper Editorial Office, and Restaurant. The time setting is 2004, August, December, morning and evening. (3) the path used is a straight path using seven stages according to Aminuddin. (4) point of view The point of view used is the perspective of the first person I as the main actor and main character.(5) the mandate contained in Jprut's novel is humanity and teaches nationalism.
