Abstract

Selada (Lactuca sativa L.) merupakan tanaman hortikultura yang memiliki nilai jual tinggi karena mengandung banyak gizi. Bentuk daun yang indah menjadikan selada tidak hanya dikonsumsi melainkan bisa digunakan sebagai tanaman hias dan penghias makanan yang disajikan. Terbuka peluang besar dalam budidaya tanaman selada karena dapat memberikan keuntungan maksimal. Pemilihan media dan pupuk yang tepat sangat berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan selada sehingga dapat memberikan hasil yang maksimal. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh media tanam dan dosis pupuk kandang sapi terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman selada serta mengetahui interaksi media tanam dan dosis pupuk kandang sapi terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman selada. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 29 Februari sampai dengan 19 April 2020 di Screen House Desa Tambaksogra dengan ketinggian tempat 154 mdpl dan Laboratorium Agronomi Hortikultura Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman. Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan yaitu Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan 2 faktor. Faktor pertama adalah media tanam, yaitu M0 = tanah, M1 = tanah + arangsekam, M2 = tanah + arangsekam + pasir. Faktor kedua adalah dosis pupuk kandang sapi yaitu, P0 : Kontrol (tanpa pupuk kandang sapi), P1: 40 g/polybag, P2: 120 g/polybag, dan P3: 200 g/polybag masing - masing faktor dikombinasikan dan didapatkan 12 kombinasi perlakuan. Perlakuan diulang sebanyak 3 kali ulangan sehingga diperoleh 36 unit percobaan. Variabel yang diamati adalah tinggi tanaman (cm), jumlah daun (helai), luas daun (cm), bobot tajuk segar (g), bobot tajuk kering (g), bobot akar segar (g), bobot akar kering (g), panjang akar terpanjang (cm) dan kadar klorofil. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan analisis varian. Apabila perlakuan berbeda nyata diuji lanjut dengan menggunakan DMRT pada taraf 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pemberian macam media tanam tanah + arangsekam + pasir menghasilkan variabel terbaik yaitu tinggi tanaman sebesar 19,70 cm, jumlah daun sebesar 10,12 cm, luas daun sebesar 2910 helai, bobot tajuk segar sebesar 112,03 g, bobot tajuk kering sebesar 6,73 g dan panjang akar sebesar 18,52 cm, pemberian perlakuan dosis kandang 50 t/ha atau setara dengan 200 g/polybag memberikan dosis yang terbaik terhadap variabel tinggi tanaman sebesar 18,56 cm, jumlah daun sebesar 9,71 cm, luas daun sebesar 2668,13 helai, bobot tajuk segar sebesar 107,37 g, bobot tajuk kering sebesar 6,21 g dan panjang akar sebesar 117,07 cm serta tidak terdapat interaksi antara dosis kandang dan media tanam untuk meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman selada. Kata kunci: media tanam, pertumbuhan dan hasil pupuk kandang sapi, dan selada SUMMARY Lettuce (Lactuca sativa L.) is a horticultural plant that has a high selling value because it contains a lot of nutrients. The beautiful leaf shape makes lettuce not only consumed but can be used as an ornamental plant and to decorate the food served. There are great opportunities in the cultivation of lettuce because it can provide maximum benefits. Selection of the right media and fertilizer greatly affects the growth of lettuce so that it can give maximum results. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of growing media and cow manure dose on growth and yield of lettuce and to determine the interaction of growing media and cow manure dose on growth and yield of lettuce. This research was conducted from 29 February to 19 April 2020 at the Tambaksogra Village Screen House with an altitude of 154 masl and the Horticultural Agronomy Laboratory of the Faculty of Agriculture, Jenderal Soedirman University. The experimental design used was a randomized block design (RBD) with 2 factors. The first factor is the planting medium, namely M0 = soil, M1 = soil + tap ground, M2 = soil + tap ground + sand. The second factor is the dose of cow manure, namely, P0: Control (without cow manure), P1: 40 g / polybag, P2: 120 g / polybag, and P3: 200 g / polybag, each factor is combined and obtained 12 treatment combinations. . The treatment was repeated 3 times in order to obtain 36 experimental units. The variables observed were plant height (cm), number of leaves (strands), leaf width (cm), fresh shoot weight (gr), dry shoot weight (g), fresh root weight (g), dry root weight (g), root length (cm) and chlorophyll content. The data obtained were analyzed by analysis of variance. If the treatment was significantly different, it was further tested using DMRT at the 5% level. The results showed that giving the type of planting medium soil + arangsekam + sand produced the best variables, namely plant height of 19.70 cm, number of leaves of 10.12 cm, leaf area of 2910, fresh shoot weight of 112.03 grams, weight of dry crown. of 6.73 gr and root length of 18.52 cm, giving cage dose treatment of 50 t / ha or equivalent to 200 g / polybag gives the best dose of plant height variable of 18.56 cm, number of leaves of 9.71 cm , leaf area of 2668.13, fresh shoot weight of 107.37 g, dry crown weight of 6.21 g and root length of 117.07 cm and there was no interaction between cage dose and planting medium to increase plant growth and yield. lettuce.
