Abstract

This research is a quantitative study. Data collection in this research is taken using an electronic questionnaire. The research’s title is "The Effect of Accounting Information Systems, Accounting Knowledge, and Business Experience on The Performance of MSMEs in Banjarnegara Regency." The purpose of this study was to determine: (1) to analyze the effect of accounting information systems on the performance of MSMEs in Banjarnegara regency, (2) to analyze the effect of accounting knowledge on the performance of MSMEs in Banjarnegara regency, (3) to analyze the effect of business experience on the performance of MSMEs in Banjarnegara regency. The population in this research is 100 MSMEs in Banjarnegara Regency. This research uses Slovin formula to determine the sample size. Data analysis techniques in this research were validity and reliability test, classic assumption test, and multiple linear regression test. Based on the results of research and data analysis using SPSS software show that: (1) Accounting Information System has a positive effect on the Performance of MSME in Banjarnegara Regency, (2) Accounting Knowledge has a positive effect on the Performance of MSME in Banjarnegara Regency, and (3) Business Experience has a positive effect on the Performance of MSME in Banjarnegara Regency. The research implies that the Performance of MSME in the Banjarnegara Regency can increase if there are a high Accounting Information System, Accounting Knowledge, and Business Experience possessed by MSME actors. Besides, MSME actors must be more advanced in the field of technology, especially in the Accounting Information System; thus, MSME can make better record transactions and have quality financial reports to improve the performance of MSMEs.
