Abstract

This research is about the profit and efficiency of the doll craftsmen's business in Cikampek Utara Village, Kota Baru District, Karawang Regency, the purpose of this research is to analyze the business efficiency and profit of the craftsmen who meet the prosperous living standards. The data used in this study are primary data taken from 65 respondents and the analysis uses R / C ratio anilysis. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the efficiency level of the doll craftsman business is by using the R / C ratio formula. Where if the R / C ratio is more than 1 then it is efficient, and all respondents are more than 1, it means that all respondents are efficient. Along with the profits of businessmen who have exceeded the UMR, it is said that they have met the standard of living well. The implication and conclusion above is that efforts to create doll production efficiency need to be maintained and even increased so that profits can continue to provide sustainable welfare. Efficient creation can continue to be done, for example by improving the skills of craftsmen to minimize product failures. In addition, there needs to be full support from the government which continues to facilitate MSMEs.
