Abstract

This research study about LLanting Kuning enterprises in Sumpiuh District, Banyumas Regency. Lanting Kuning is a typical product of Sumpiuh Sub District, because it is only produced by SMEs in Sumpiuh Sub district and does not exist in other regions. At present, the number of lanting kuning SMEs continues to decline. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of raw material, labor, and machine variables on the output of the lanting kuning enterprises and analyze the state of return to scale on lanting kuning enterprises. The type used in this study is qualitative and quantitative research using the survey method. This research method uses CobbDouglas production functions and multiple linear regression. Based on the results of research and analysis of the data by using the production function of the Cobb-Douglas and multiple linear regression showed that together the raw materials, labor, and machine of the positive effect against output, as for partially raw material effect is positive and significant. As for lanting kuning enterprises is on the conditions of decreasing return to scale. The implication that can be conveyed is in an effort to increasing output, lanting kuning entrepreneurs must maintain the availability of raw materials. Lanting kuning entrepreneurs must also maintain all machines regularly, government institutions must provide counseling to lanting kuning entrepreneurs in the form of bookkeeping and marketing training. Lanting kuning entrepreneurs need to pay attention and manage the proportion of better input usage. So for the next production process lanting kuning enterprises is in the scale of better results.
