Abstract
Background: Preparedness knowledge is knowledge of activities undertaken to anticipate disaster through appropriate and efficient organization and steps. Anxiety is the impact of a disaster the physiology of the body, an unpleasant feeling of tension, and comprehensive feeling. This study aims to determine the correlation between knowledge of landslide disaster preparedness to anxiety level in village officials. Method: The research was a quantitative study with a cross sectional design. The respondents of this study were 44 village officials. This research was done in the disaster-prone areas Somagede. This study used the knowledge of landslide disaster preparedness and Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale questionnaire to measure knowledge of landslide disaster preparedness to anxiety level. The data analysis used Sommers’d test. Result: The results showed that most of respondents are male (86,4%) and have high school education (68,2%) by age 46-60 (63,6%). All of respondents had high knowledge of landslide disaster preparedness (100%). Some respondents have a high anxiety level (91%). There was no significant correlation between knowledge of landslide disaster preparedness to anxiety level in village officials (p = 0.708; p >0.05). Conclusion: The research concluded that knowledge of landslide disaster preparedness is not related to anxiety level in village officials.
