Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji peran program Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) sebagai salah satu instrumen PT Pertamina RU IV Cilacap dalam memberikan kesejahteraan kepada masyarakat Dusun Bondan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara Program CSR E-MAS BAYU dan kesejahteraan masyarakat dengan menggunakan Teori Pertukaran Sosial Homans serta teori Hierarki Kebutuhan Maslow. Analisis dilakukan untuk melihat bagaimana manfaat yang diberikan melalui Program CSR E-MAS BAYU memenuhi lima tingkatan kebutuhan, yaitu kebutuhan fisiologis, rasa aman, sosial, harga diri, dan aktualisasi diri, sekaligus mencerminkan proses pertukaran sosial antara PT Pertamina RU IV Cilacap dan masyarakat Dusun Bondan. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada 54 responden yang merupakan perwakilan dari keluarga di Dusun Bondan, dengan dukungan Instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program CSR E-MAS BAYU memiliki hubungan yang positif dengan kesejahteraan masyarakat dusun bondan. Hubungan ini tercermin dari terpenuhinya lima kebutuhan Maslow, mulai dari kebutuhan fisiologis seperti kemudahan dalam penyediaan makanan, air, dan kenyamanan rumah tangga, kebutuhan rasa aman melalui penerangan yang lebih baik, pasokan listrik yang stabil, serta kondisi ekonomi keluarga yang meningkat, kebutuhan sosial dengan semakin eratnya interaksi antar warga dan kemudahan akses terhadap hiburan serta informasi, kebutuhan harga diri berupa tumbuhnya rasa bangga, pengakuan, dan kemandirian ekonomi, hingga kebutuhan aktualisasi diri yang diwujudkan melalui kemudahan belajar, bekerja, dan pengembangan potensi. Hubungan positif ini juga dapat dijelaskan melalui Teori Pertukaran Sosial Homans, Pertamina memperoleh keuntungan berupa legitimasi sosial melalui program CSR, sementara masyarakat Dusun Bondan memperoleh pemenuhan kebutuhan kesejahteraan pada kelima aspek tersebut. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa program CSR E-MAS BAYU membangun hubungan timbal balik yang konstruktif antara perusahaan dan masyarakat. This study examines the role of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program as one of the instruments of PT Pertamina RU IV Cilacap in enhancing the welfare of the residents of Dusun Bondan. The study aims to analyze the relationship between the E-MAS BAYU CSR Program and community welfare by employing Homans’ Social Exchange Theory and Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs Theory. The analysis is conducted to assess how the benefits provided through the E-MAS BAYU CSR Program fulfill the five levels of needs, namely physiological needs, safety needs, social needs, esteem needs, and self-actualization, while also reflecting the process of social exchange between PT Pertamina RU IV Cilacap and the community of Dusun Bondan. Data collection was carried out through the distribution of questionnaires to 54 respondents representing households in Dusun Bondan, supported by a questionnaire as the research instrument. The results indicate that the E-MAS BAYU CSR Program has a positive relationship with the welfare of the Dusun Bondan community. This relationship is reflected in the fulfillment of Maslow’s five levels of needs, starting from physiological needs such as improved access to food, water, and household comfort; safety needs through better lighting, stable electricity supply, and improved household economic conditions; social needs through strengthened social interactions and easier access to entertainment and information; esteem needs manifested in the growth of pride, recognition, and economic independence; and self-actualization needs realized through improved opportunities for learning, working, and developing individual potential. This positive relationship can also be explained through Homans’ Social Exchange Theory, in which Pertamina gains social legitimacy through the CSR program, while the people of Dusun Bondan gain fulfillment of welfare needs across these five dimensions. Thus, this study demonstrates that the E-MAS BAYU CSR Program fosters a constructive reciprocal relationship between the company and the community.
