Abstract: The research entitled " Analysis of the Threat of the Ebola Virus Epidemic to the Health Security of the Democratic Republic of the Congo in 2018-2020" was analyzed using the concept of Health Security as one of the dimensions in Human Security. The focus of this study is to analyze how the Ebola virus outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) poses a threat to Health Security in terms of Human Security. Based on the data and analysis conducted, the Health Security concept sees that the Ebola virus outbreak that occurred in the Democratic Republic of the Congo in 2018 poses a threat to individual health security and a threat to global health security. The high risk of transmitting the virus to individuals and the increasingly widespread red zone in the DRC have made the transmission risk status very high at the national and regional levels, although it is still relatively low at the global level. The concept of Health Security in Human Security refers to the International Health Regulation (IHR) that Health Security exists to improve the basic health system for individuals from unusual phenomena so that Health Security will be better in the future.
