Abstract

This study analyzes the effect of emotional intelligence, intrinsic motivation, and job satisfaction on employee performance in SMEs in the city of South Tangerang. The population in this study was 100 employees who worked in the South Tangerang area of the Serpong sub-district. Based on the research results and data analysis using the multiple linear regression research model, it shows that: (1) Emotional Intelligence has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, (2) Intrinsic Motivation has a positive but not significant effect on employee performance. (3) Job satisfaction positively and significantly affects employee performance. This research implies that it is necessary to increase motivation in employees who can support their work to improve employee performance so that they have reasonable emotional control and are satisfied with the company
