Abstract

Latar Belakang: Klien dengan masalah harga diri rendah merasa tidak berguna, kurang melakukan sosialisasi dan akan mengalami penurunan dalam melakukan kemampuan positif. Apabila masalah harga diri rendah tidak ditangani, maka dapat memicu masalah lainnya seperti isolasi sosial. Salah satu upaya meningkatkan kemampuan positif klien dengan harga diri rendah dapat dilakukan dengan menerapkan kegiatan menyulam. Tujuan: Menganalisis penatalaksanaan kegiatan menyulam pada klien harga diri rendah. Metode: Studi kasus dengan menerapkan implementasi evidence based practice pada asuhan keperawatan. Hasil: Setelah diterapkan intervensi harga diri rendah dengan kegiatan menyulam selama 4 hari didapatkan hasil bahwa: Terjadi penurunan tanda dan gejala dari harga diri rendah seperti perasaan tidak berguna, meningkatnya tingkat kemampuan kegiatan dan dapat melakukan sosialisasi dengan orang lain. Kesimpulan: Kegiatan menyulam merupakan salah satu kegiatan positif yang di sukai klien dan meningkatkan kemampuan motorik serta kepercayaan diri klien. Hasil pengukuran skala harga diri yang awalnya dikategorikan rendah berubah membaik menjadi kategori sedang. Background: Clients with low self-esteem problems feel useless, lack socialization and will experience a decrease in positive abilities. If the problem of low self-esteem is left untreated, it can trigger other problems such as social isolation. One of the efforts to increase the positive abilities of clients with low self-esteem can be done by implementing embroidery activities. Objective: Analyzing the management of embroidery activities in low self- esteem clients. Methods: Case study by applying evidence based practice implementation in nursing care. Results: After implementing the low self-esteem intervention with embroidery activities for 4 days, the results showed that: There was a decrease in signs and symptoms of low self-esteem such as feeling useless, increasing the level of activity ability and being able to socialize with others. Conclusion: Embroidery activity is one of the positive activities that clients like and improves the client's motor skills and confidence. The results of the self-esteem scale measurement which was initially categorized as low turned into a medium category.
