Abstract
The increase in international palm oil prices has resulted in palm oil producers in Indonesia preferring to sell palm oil products abroad. This resulted in a scarcity of palm oil in the country and pushed the price of domestic palm oil derivative products up. To overcome the increase in prices of domestic palm oil derivative products, the government through the ministry of trade imposed a temporary ban on palm oil exports. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of GDP of trading partner countries, exchange rates of trading partner countries, exports of the previous year, and CPO prices of trading partner countries on Indonesia's CPO exports to trading partner countries, and find out what variables are the most influential. This study used secondary data obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics, the World Bank, and trademap.org. The analysis technique used in this study is multiple linear regression with panel data. The results of this study show that the variables of GDP of trading partner countries, exchange rates of trading partner countries, and exports of the previous year have a positive and significant effect on Indonesia's CPO exports to trading partner countries. Meanwhile, variable CPO prices of trading partner countries have a negative and insignificant effect on Indonesia's CPO exports to trading partner countries. The implication of this study is that there are many factors that can influence Indonesia's CPO exports, especially Indonesian CPO exports to trading partner countries. To be able to increase Indonesia's CPO exports, the government is expected to establish cooperation with countries with high GDP. So that Indonesia's CPO exports can increase
