Abstract

The Desmigratif program is a breakthrough from the Ministry of Manpower in collaboration with various institution to empower, improve services, and provide protection for Indonesian Migrant Worker Candidates or Indonesian Migrant Workers in the villages sending the most migrant workers. Cilangkap village, as one of the villages sending migrant workers, has been carrying out Desmigratif program since 2018 by forming a self-employed group named Wajada. Wajada decided to produce coffee powder to optimize the potential of coffee production in Gumelar village and due to the increasing trend of drinking coffee. "Kopimas" agroindustry faces various challenges such as the customers who find the price is too high, the lack of marketing division on the team, and the limited production frequency as they only produce once a week. Therefore, a study on the Feasibility of “"Kopimas"” Argo-Industry: A Case Study of Desmigratif Program, Wajada Self-Employed Group, Cilangkap Village, Gumelar Sub-District needs to be conducted. This study aims to: 1) Calculate the selling price of “"Kopimas"” agroindustry by Wajada self-employed group. 2) Analyze the feasibility of “"Kopimas"” agroindustry by Wajada Group in financial, technical, management, and distribution aspect. This study was done in "Kopimas" agroindustry in February - March 2023. This was a case study in form of descriptive exploratory applied research using quantitative and qualitative approach. The target of this study was the stakeholders and people who understand the ins and outs of "Kopimas" business unit. The method of determining the place and sampling was done by purposive method. The result of the study showed that the selling price is Rp15.800 with desired profit of 20%. The "Kopimas" agroindustry feasibility with 6.5 percent discount rate and a 7-year investment period. The financial feasibility analysis showed NPV of IDR 5,005,920, IRR of 9%, PR of 1.1, net B/C ratio value of 1.09, and payback period of 7 years and 6 months. "Kopimas" Agroindustry is financially feasible. The raw material is obtained from the farmers who sell it to them. The processing technique is dry processing. "Kopimas" marketing is focused on one or two consumer groups. They brand their product as Banyumas people’s coffee.
