(A Descriptive study on Student’s Perceptions Of The Media Used By The Teacher In Teaching English Class In Grade 10th At 3 Senior High School Cirebon In Academic Year Of 2022/2023) Thesis. Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education, Jenderal Soedirman University, Faculty of Humnaties, English Department, English Education Department, Purwokerto. Keywords: Teaching Media, English Teaching, Perceptions, English Learning Media Nowadays Learning English is much easier since students can use many different learning media in learning English. as we know that students learn English not only through the textbook. but, they also learn English through Authentic Materials that can be accessed from such media as laptop, handphone and social media. The general concern of this research is the media used by the teacher in teaching English at 10th grader of SMA Negeri 3 Cirebon.the research is focused on the students’ perception towards the media used by the teacher in learning English. The data were collected by interview and class observation. The findings showed that 80% of the students were very happy and 20% of the students’ were happy in learning English by using the media such as Laptop, Handphone, Whatssap and Msteam. The findings also indicate that 65% of observation list was fulfilled by the teacher in teaching English at 10th grader of SMA Negeri 3 Cirebon. Based on the observation results, the students can develop and increase their English skills better on using media that the Teacher use in English Class. the impact of the use of teaching media on students' learning motivation, whether media can increase students' confidence in using English, and also increase students' interest in learning English. Furthermore, the reseacher suggest that English Teacher as an educators need to pay more attention to the preparation in order to set as much as strategies on this teaching method as well as preparing the internet connection.
