Abstract

Technological advances in the payment system have shifted the role of cash as a means of payment to digital payments, QRIS (Quick Response Indonesian Standard) is a non-cash payment instrument created by Bank Indonesia. Banyumas Regency is the highest QRIS user district in the Banyumas Residency. This study aims to analyze the differences in MSE revenue using QRIS and without QRIS, the differences in MSE profits using QRIS and without QRIS, the differences in MSE revenue before and after using QRIS and the differences in MSE profits before and after using QRIS. This study aims to analyze the differences in MSE revenue using QRIS and without using QRIS, the differences in MSE profit using QRIS and without using QRIS, the differences in MSE revenue before and after using QRIS and the differences in MSE profits before and after using QRIS. This research is with a quantitative comparative descriptive approach. The method used in this study is the Wilcoxon test and descriptive analysis. The data used is primary data by distributing questionnaires. The number of respondents to this study was 200, including micro and small businesses using QRIS and without using QRIS. The results of this study indicate that there are differences in the revenue of MSE using QRIS and without using QRIS, there are differences in the profits of MSE using QRIS and without QRIS, there are differences in revenue before and after using QRIS, and there are differences in profit before and after using QRIS for micro and small businesses in Banyumas Regency. The implications of using QRIS by the wider community are not yet well available, many people do not yet have internet facilities and infrastructure from various cellular operators, so that QRIS users cannot maximize convenience and make non-cash transactions. QRIS implementation requires quite a long time, especially in small towns. This is because the level of digital financial literacy in Indonesia is still very low. Thus, massive outreach and education is needed to all levels of society.
