Abstract
The title of the final project report is Translating The Transcript of “Let’s Exercise” and “Tolerance” from Animated Short Film Nussa The Series. Nussa The Series is an Indonesian animated series that is presented as an alternative to children's viewing to provide educational and learning value. The purposes of this job training are to translate an animated short film Nussa The Series, to explain the translation process and the techniques used to translate the short film Nussa The Series, and to explain the obstacles and solutions when translating the short film Nussa The Series. The translation of this short film Nussa The Series consists of several steps: they are analyzing the short film Nussa The Series, transferring the message from the source language to the target language, restructuring the message contained in the source language, and evaluating the results of the translation. The translation techniques used in this job training were Literal Translation, Reduction, Description, Transposition, and Amplification. During the job training, the obstacles faced were the lack of vocabulary, the difficulty of finding the right diction, and the difficulty of equating the accuracy of subtitles with the timeliness of film dialogue. To overcome the obstacles, the solutions were consulting to the supervisors, looking for terms in the target language from words that are not understood with the help of a dictionary, and learning the features contained in the subtitle application.
