Abstract

The internship was carried out for three months at the Cilacap Immigration Office from 18 September 2023 to 18 December 2023. The main purpose of this internship is to create an information video about deportation with English and Indonesian subtitles. This is to make it easier for foreigners to understand the deportation regulations. Making an information video is a process that involves several stages, namely pre-production, production and post-production. Before being published on Cilacap's social media, the information video went through a review and revision process. The purpose of this process is to ensure that the video is accurate and suitable for public dissemination. In carrying out the practical work, three methods were used, namely observation, interviews and documentation. Observations were made several months before the start of the placement, interviews with the intelligence section of the Cilacap Immigration Office, and documentation to show the process and results of placement work at the Cilacap Immigration Office. Some of the challenges faced were producing the information videos, having a crowded office and attending many meetings with the head of the department. Solutions included waiting for the right time when the office was quiet and making appointments in advance. On-the-job training revealed that the Cilacap Immigration Office did not have an information video on deportation in English, which was actually needed due to the many questions asked by foreigners.
