Abstract

This research title is An Analysis Of Trader’s Income At The Revitalized And Not Revitalized Traditional Market (A Case Study At Pasar Manis And Pasar Pon In Purwokerto). This research is aim to analyze the effect of several factors such as capital, working hours and length of business to the trader's income at Pasar Manis and Pasar Pon in Purwokerto and to analyze the difference of average trader’s in Pasar Manis and Pasar Pon. To analyze the effect of capital, working hours and length of business to the trader’s income used Multiple Linear Regression Analysis and to analyze the difference of average trader’s income in Pasar Manis and Pasar Pon used Difference Test Analysis. The data used in this research are primary data taken from 84 respondents from Pasar Manis Purwokerto and 55 respondents from Pasar Pon. The result of multiple linear regression analysis show that capital have significant effect to the trader’s income while the other factors such as working hours and length of business have no significant effect to the trader’s income in Pasar Manis Purwokerto. Then capital and length of business have significant effect to the trader’s income while the other factors such as working hours have no significant effect to the trader’s income in Pasar Pon Purwokerto This research also indicated that there is a significant difference to the average income of traders between Pasar Manis and Pasar Pon. Based on the results, to increase the trader's income in Pasar Manis needs to increase the capital, while to increase the income of traders in Pasar Pon need additional capital and business experience. Then it expected that the government can improving the existing facilities and infrastructure in the market to increase the number of visitors by the traditional market revitalization program.
