Abstract

This research discusses the factors that influence community level in the Gelora Satria Purwokerto frequency. In this research, the independent variables used were distance, perception facilities, spending cost, occupation, age, and peer influence, while the dependent variable was the frequency of visits. This research uses primary data by taking 68 respondents. The analytical method used is multiple regression. Based on the results of research that has been done through various statistical tests taken from six variables, two independent variables that have no significance according to the hypothesis, there are the age variable and the occupation variable. Then the variables that discuss significant in this research are distance, perception facilities, spending cost, and peer influence. Of the four variables that have a significant effect, the variable that has the most dominant influence is the spending cost variable. This research has implications for the Banyumas regional government to increasing regional income through the tourism sector. The multiplier effects arising from the optimal frequency of community visits to Gelora Satria Purwokerto will encourage various other supporting industrial sectors. A positive impact on increasing the multiplier effect will certainly increase aggregate demand in various real sectors. This increase in the real sector will increase the Banyumas GRDP as well, which will ultimately improve the welfare of the Banyumas community.
