Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh variabel independen (profitabilitas, likuiditas, net profit margin, earning per share, kepemilikan manajerial, dan ukuran perusahaan) terhadap variabel dependen (kebijakan dividen). Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah perusahaan di Indonesia yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia pada periode 2014 sampai 2018. Dengan teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik purposive sampling. Dari hasil penelitian ini diketahui bahwa profitabilitas berpengaruh positif terhadap kebijakan dividen, likuiditas tidak berpengaruh terhadap kebijakan dividen, net profit margin berpengaruh negatif terhadap kebijakan dividen, earning per share berpengaruh negatif terhadap kebijakan dividen, kepemilikan manajerial tidak berpengaruh terhadap kebijakan dividen, dan ukuran perusahaan tidak berpengaruh terhadap kebijakan dividen pada perusahaan di Indonesia yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2014 sampai 2018. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah sebaiknya perusahaan lebih memperhatikan faktor-faktor yang mampu mendatangkan keuntungan bagi pemegang sahamnya untuk menarik lebih banyak investor. Dan untuk investor sebelum berinvestasi sebaiknya melakukan telaah terhadap faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kebijakan dividen agar mendapatkan lebih banyak keuntungan dari investasinya.
