Abstract

The isolate of nitrogen fixing bacteria Azospirillum sp. (isolate PRD2), phosphat solubilizing bacteria Pedomonas sp. (isolate KTAI), and antifungi compound producer bacteria Pseuodomoans fluorescens showed negatively antagonism relationship in antagonisms assay. The med culture was then grown on rice bran and tapioca solidwaste media in compositions of 0:5, 1:4, 2:3, 3:2, 4:1, and S: during 6 weeks incubation period, and it was then assayed for fixation effectivity toward maize plant growthParameters measured were total number of bacteria, number of Azopirillum sp, numberof PSedomonas sp and P. floUrescens, media C/N ratio, and maize plant growth(included plant dry weight, plant hight, and plant root length). The mixed culture viability was still high after incubation period showed by increasing the cell number. Mediacomposition of 3.2 resulted a better growth of mixed culture than that other composition The culture also resulted a high eflectivity toward maize plant growth, therefore it suggests that the mixed culture can be formulated as a biofertilizer using rice bran and tapioca solid waste as a carrier and growth media.
