Ministry of Education, Culture, research and Technology, Jenderal Soedirman University, Faculty of Humanities, Department of Language Education, English Education Study Program, Purwokerto. Vocabulary is one of the essential aspects that students must learn. However, students face difficulties in learning English vocabulary. Currently, technological advancements have created various devices that can make it easier for humans to do things, including learning. One of them is gamification, which is the integration of games into the learning process. In this study, the researcher chose a school that has implemented gamification using the Baamboozle game website. This research employed a qualitative research design. The objective was to investigate the implementation and to explore the teacher's perception of Baamboozle as a media for teaching English vocabulary. The participants in this research were an English teacher and eight-grade students, especially 8A, 8D and 8E students at SMP 3 Kebasen. Two research instruments were utilized: observation and interviews. Observation was used to examine how the teacher implemented the Baamboozle game in the classroom, while interviews were conducted to gather the teacher's perceptions.The result of this research showed that the Baamboozle game website was implemented by the teacher as a media to strengthen previously learned material of English vocabulary during the subject learning time. The researcher found that the English teacher had a positive perception of the implementation of Baamboozle as a media for teaching English vocabulary to students. The English teacher believe that by using Baamboozle, the process of learning English vocabulary becomes easier for students to understand and create a more enjoyable learning atmosphere.
