Abstract

This research with titled “Analysis of Total Third Party Funds (Mudharaba Deposit) Determinants at Islamic Banking in Indonesia Period 2009-2014”. The background that the concept of Islamic banking is relatively new for the Indonesian people, but Islamic banks able to perform relatively better compared with conventional banking. The growth of Islamic banking in Indonesia now is quite rapidly, if seen from the development of Islamic banking network and assets. Besides that, the competition between syariah banks and conventional banks, making syariah banks are required to have a better performance to compete in the national banking market in Indonesia. A source of community funds was fund source of most important things in the operating of a bank and is size the success of bank. One of the products third party funds that is deposits mudharaba, which is the largest if compared with other products.This research has some objectives these are to analyze the effect and to find out the most influential of independent variables. This research uses independent variables consist of inflation, interest rate (BI rate), profit sharing, SWBI, and workers. Data secondary, based quarterly data set from 2009-2014 and taken from a few publications that was published by the Central Bureau of Statistics, Bank Indonesia, and Financial Services Authority, study libraries, and the previous research. This research using statistical analysis on quantitative with multiple linear regression. The result show that free from multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity, and autocorrelation and have normal data. In simultaneous, the independent variables give influence to dependent variable. From the results of these estimates together independent variable could affect significantly on total of mudharaba deposit. While with partially have significant influence toward total of mudharaba deposit in Indonesia of BI rate has coefficient of -0.055, SWBI has value coefficient 0.115, and workers has coefficient 1.145, while inflation has coefficient of 0.002 and profit sharing has coefficient of -0.010 are not significant, then the most influencing variable on total of mudharaba deposit at Islamic Banking is the number of workers. The conclusion that simultaneously, the independent variables give influence to dependent variable and the partially have significant influence of BI rate, SWBI and the number of workers, while inflation and profit sharing are not significant, then the most influencing variable is the number of workers. The implications these are for management of Islamic banks can also work together with the Indonesian Council of Ulama to give wider socialization, and also for Islamic Banking should be to focus more on increasing the number of Islamic Banking offices in order to absorb more labor.
