Abstract

This research takes the title Factors Affecting Income of Ornamental Fish Seller in the Mina RestuFish Market inPurwanegara Village in North Purwokerto Sub-District. Beginning with the difference of income obtained by the sellers and the existence of data showing the decrease in the number of visitors, therefore the purpose of this study is to determine factors have an influence on the income of sellers and to deterimine factors have a dominant influence on income. this study is the primary data taken from 37 respondents by using census method and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The result of regression shows that capital, working hours, business experience and the number of visitors has influence to the income of sellers, while other factor is education level does not have influence to the income of sellers. This study also shows that capital is the most influential factor on the income of the sellers compared to other factors. Based on the above results, to increase the income of ornamental fish sellers need additional capital and working hours. Needs of assistance from the government in providing training, coaching and counseling so that sellers are able to provide excellent service to visitors. The government is expected to help improve the existing facilities and infrastructure in the market in order to increase the number of visitors coming to the market.
