Abstract

This research is a primary data research by survey the owners of SMEs tempe in the Pliken Village, Kembaran Subdistrict, Banyumas Regency. This research titled “Factors Affecting the Profit of SMEs Tempe in Pliken Village, Kembaran Subdistrict, Banyumas Regency.The purpose of this research is to analyze the factors that affect the number profit the owners of SMEs tempe in Pliken Village, Kembaran Subdistrict, Banyumas Regency. The population of this research is the owners of SMEs tempe in the Pliken Village, Kembaran Subdistrict, Banyumas Regency. Based on the results of the research can be concluded that there are five variables simultaneously have a significant positive effect on the of profit that generated by SMEs tempe in Pliken Village, Kembaran Subdistrict, Banyumas Regency. The influential variables are capital, labor, Period of Business, education, and credit. Partially, there are four variables that have positive effect are significant to profit which is capital, labor, Period of Business, and Education while credit variable have positive not significant effect to total profit the owners of SME tempe in Pliken Village, Kembaran Subdistrict, Banyumas Regency. While the most influential variable to the profit SMEs tempe in Pliken Village is the Capital. It is shown by the value of the coefficient of positive value of each variable to the profit SMEs tempe in Pliken Village, it shows that there is an increase in the number of profit from SMEs tempe in Pliken Village because of the increase in the number of values of each unit of variable that is capital, labor, period of business, education, and credit. According to calculations elasticity of capital variables have the biggest number elasticity among the other variables, therefore the variable capital is very influential on the amount of profit SMEs tempe in Pliken Village, District Kembaran, Banyumas Regency. The Implication of the above conclusions is to increase the profit of SMEs tempe in Pliken Village there are seveal ways, the first is the government expected can provide capital assistance more optimally by increasing the amount of capital loans and facilitate easier access to capital. Second governments are expected to provide training on workers at SMEs tempe in Pliken village in order to produce tempe more efficiently and better produced. With that way, expected can increase the number of profit owners SMEs tempe in Pliken Village, District Kembaran, Banyumas.
