Abstract

Poverty is one of crucial problem and important goal for central also clocal government. This research to analyze factors affecting poverty in East Java Province 2011-2015 using independent variables are GRDP percapita, education, wage, population and unemployment. The data in this research using data panel collected from Central Agency of Statistic East Java Province and other supporting sources with the sample 38 districts in East Java Province. The result that Fixed Effect is the fit and best model for this research by using Eviews software program. All variabels independent are simultaneously affect poverty. Partially GRDP percapita, education, population and unemployment have negative affect and wage have positive affect on poverty in East Java Province 2011-2015. Also population is the most affecting variable on poverty.
