Abstract

This thesis is titled, "Examining The Influence of Work-Family Conflict towards Work Stress, Employee Performance and Turnover Intention of Working Women". This research aims to determine the influence of work-family conflict on occupational stress, work performance, and also turnover intention on working women and the impact of work stress itself on work performance and also turnover intention on working women. This research is conducted in Jakarta precisely in some banking industry that is there. The data analysis technique used is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results of this study showed that work-family conflict has a positive influence towards work stress and also employee performance but no significant influence towards turnover intention while work stress has a positive influence towards turnover intention but no significant influence towards employees ' performance. Some of these results show positive influences but some are not significant. The implications of this study are to increase employees ' performance and minimize turnover intention of working women, management of Bank Industry in Jakarta needs to make a priority on work-family conflict and work stress. The ways can be done by giving enough time for employees to complete their work, reduce the employees ' workload and give enough time for employees to gather with their family, as well as give a role in the organization for all employees fairly following with their abilities and expertise.
