Abstract

This thesis is studying about the inventory management by using Econnomic Order Quantity (EOQ) method. The title of this thesis is “Inventory Management by Using Economic Order Quantity Method (A Case Study at CV. Anugerah Jaya Mandiri)”. In this case study, researcher conclude there are several problem to be solve related to inventory management in CV. Anugerah Jaya Mandiri, such as how much to order, when to order. The EOQ method are used to determine the optimal order quantity of Meet 10 Watt lamp product. The Safety Stock and Reorder Point of Meet 10 Watt lamp product also calculated to determine the order time and avoiding stockout. From the interview with the CV. Anugerah Jaya Mandiri owner, found that the management do not know about EOQ which become obstacles on applying EOQ. From the results, found that with EOQ method, company could determine the optimal level of order quantity which save inventory costs for about 21 percent.
