Abstract

Biofertilizer utilization is suggested in order to reduce the fully dependent on chemical fertilizer by farmers becouse of its advatages. A research was conducted for formulating bacterial mixed culture consisted of nitrogen fixing bacteria, phosphate solubilizing bacteria, and antipathogenic compound producing bacteria which were grown on ash added wth rice bran and tapioca solid waste extract medium. The aims of this research was to get a non antagonistic bacterial mixed culture which capable to grow in the medium during 6 weeks incubation. The result showed that the mixed bacterial culture which did not perform antagonistic character between each other and demonstrated a good growth in the medium were Azospirillum sp., Pseudomonas fluoreseems, Baeillus sp., and Azotobacter sp.
