Abstract

This job training report is entitled “Making English Video To Promote Tourist Attraction Managed By KPH Banyumas” and is based on the results of my activities during job trainings in tourist attractions managed by KPH Banyumas Timur. This activity was carried out for one month from Monday, February 22, 2021 to Wednesday, March 24, 2021. The purpose of this report was to explain job training implementation, to find out the role of POKDARWIS in promoting tourist attraction, to explain the procedures of making video promotion, and to find out the obstacles and solutions in making video promotion.The KPH Banyumas Timur is located on Jalan Gatot Subroto, Brubahan, Purwanegara, Purwokerto Timur. The four tourist attractions managed by the KPH Banyumas Timur include three tourist attractions in Baturraden and one located in Cilongok.The role of Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) and the community who are members of the Tourism Awareness Group (POKDARWIS) greatly helps the government's role in boosting the tourism sector during this pandemic. Tourism awareness groups or POKDARWIS usually have strategies in the promotion and management of various tourist destinations in order to attract more visitors that are not covered by the government.In job training, the results of observation show that the four tourist attractions managed by the KPH Banyumas Timur do not have tour guides who can speak English. Moreover, during the pandemic era, there is no foreign tourists come to the tourist attractions.
