Abstract
This research analyzes the effect of person job-fit & core self-evaluation as the antecedent towards job satisfaction towards work engagement and organizational commitment as the consequences at PT Pertamina RU IV Cilacap. The research data was conducted through a survey with a quantitative approach. Data obtained as primary data and collected through a questionnaire. The population in this study is the entire PT Pertamina RU IV Cilacap. The research sample used convenience sampling, and the data obtained was 115 respondents. Data analysis using IBM SPSS 25 for Windows. The theory of job satisfaction in this study which is proxied by several variables, can explain empirically. It can provide an overview of the factors influencing the antecedents and consequences of job satisfaction. The results of this study indicate that person-job fit variable has a positive effect on job satisfaction. Core Self-Evaluation variable does not have a positive effect on job satisfaction. Job Satisfaction variable has a positive effect on Work Engagement. Job Satisfaction variable has a positive effect on Organizational Commitment. This shows that the higher the job satisfaction, the higher the organizational commitment.
