Abstract
A company's success can be measured by the performance of employees who generate. Achieving such a performance is a critical part the organization's leaders pay attention to. There are several things that can affect employee performance, namely work overload and if employees cannot handle challenging circumstances, this can also cause stress. Getting support is the mechanism to reduce stress. The company needs to support social to maintain and improve the performance of these employees. The social support instrument used in this research namely the supervisor. Supervisor support can also be interpreted by the extent to which the employee considers that the supervisor offers their employees support, encouragement, and attention. This study aims to analyze antecedents and consequences of work stress with supervisor support as a moderation variable at PT Cahaya Metal Perkasa. The sample in this study were 82 respondents of employee at PT Cahaya Metal Perkasa. Based on the results of research using SPSS analysis tool shows that Work Overload effect Work Stress and Work Stress effect Employee Performance. The Supervisor Support variable was successful in moderating the effect between Work Overload and Work Stress, but it failed to moderate the effect between Work Stress and Employee Performance.
