Abstract

This research is focused on the teacher’s perception in students learning loss during the Covid-19 pandemic transition period at SMP GunungJati 1 Purwokerto. There are two research questions in this research : (1) How are teachers perceptions about the changes online to offline learning process during the transition pandemic Covid-19? (2) What kinds of students learning loss due to the changes online to offline during the pandemic Covid-19 in English learning process based on teachers perceptions? The objective of this research related with the research questions previosly, the objective of this reserach to inverstigate the teachers perception on students learning loss the change of online to offline learning process during pandemic Covid-19 transition. The research design that used Narrative Inquiry. The research was conduct at SMP GunungJati 1 Purwokerto. The participants of this research were two teachers. This research used interview and questionnaire to collect the data. From the result of the research, both of the teachers agree about several problems which happened due to the change of online to offline learning process during pandemic Covid-19 transition. Start from the Curriculum Applied at School, Teaching Materials Given By Teacher’s, The Decrease of Students Behavior at School, and Students English Learning Loss in Vocabulary. It is proven with the data from interview as main data. Questionnaire as suppoting data.
